Yuya Kubo (久保 裕也, Kubo Yūya?, born December 24, 1993) is a Japanese footballer who plays for Kyoto Sanga F.C.. In December 2011 he went on a trial with the German football club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
Club Career
He was a key player in the Kyoto Sanga team which reached the 2011 Emperor's Cup Final. He scored in the extra-time of the semifinal against Yokohama Marinos, a goal (min 116) which meant the 2-3 in a match that ended 2-4 for Kyoto Sanga[1]. After coming on from the bench, as he did in the semifinal, he also scored in the Final against F.C. Tokyo but his goal was useless because anyway F.C. Tokyo won the match with a final score of 4-2[2].
